How long does the power have to be out before the Freeze Alarm Home Sitter calls out?

This is selectable via a Switch on the unit. You can choose either 15 minutes of 60 minutes to limit “nuisance” calls from power blips.

Will my freeze alarm call if the power is out and the battery is dead?

What happens if the Freeze Alarm gets an answering machine, busy signal or voice mail?

All of our models will continue to call until the alarm is cancelled by the called person entering the acknowledgement code on any touch tone phone or cell phone. The frequency that the dialer calls back is adjustable on most models.

Can the Freeze alarm call a cell phone?

Yes, all Sensaphone dialers and Freeze Alarms can call a cell phone number. The number can be any phone number from 16 to 40 (depending on model) digits in length, including pauses and the star key if required. They will call a local numbers, international numbers, cell numbers, pagers and even a calling card numbers.

Will the Freeze Alarm work with my answering machine?

Will the Freeze Alarm work on my cable or DSL phone line?

Our FreezeAlarms and Sensaphone dialers work well on most digital/DSL and Cable phone lines. Generally speaking if a fax or modem would work on your phone line then any of our dialers will work as well. VOIP lines vary greatly in quality making it difficult for most dialers to work well.

How do you acknowledge an alarm with the FAD2?
