Discard the small metal or plastic reducer used for smaller cables.
Strip the buried wire outer jacket and wire insulation to appropriate lengths.
Twist the bared wires together creating a “pigtail union”.
Solder each connection with just enough solder to tin the twists.
Place insulator caps over the unions.
Use a cable tie to fasten the buried wires together just below the splices.
Place splice in the smaller half of the Klick-It II.
Push each insulator cap into the grease and away from each other.
Install the second half of the Klick-It II, pressing the halves together until they ‘Klick’ shut
Double back the two burial wires over the Klick-It II and fasten with cable ties.
