I have a spot protect in the field. It is connected to the wifi because I have done test notifications but it will not give me real time sensor readings. What can I do to rectify this?
The <b>test</b> notifications simply test the connection between the SpotProtect cloud server and your e-mail address/cell phone. It’s a way of making sure no firewalls etc. are going to block email alerts or text messages from getting through to you from the Cloud. It <b>does not</b> test your SpotProtects connection to the cloud at all, so the Notification Tests may be working fine but that doesn’t mean your SpotProtect has connected to your WiFi. When your SpotProtect device does make a successful connection you’ll see a green check mark icon appear beside your sensor in the cloud and the ‘Last Check In’ date and time will update.
