How too adjust voice repetitions in the FGD-0400.
The Voice Repetitions feature of the Sensaphone 400 and 800 allows programming of the number of times the alarm message is repeated per phone call during alarm dial-out. It can be handy to lengthen the number of repetitions if you find yourself having a hard time punching in the acknowledgement code prior to the unit […]
I have a spot protect in the field. It is connected to the wifi because I have done test notifications but it will not give me real time sensor readings. What can I do to rectify this?
The test notifications simply test the connection between the SpotProtect cloud server and your e-mail address/cell phone. It’s a way of making sure no firewalls etc. are going to block email alerts or text messages from getting through to you from the Cloud. It does not test your SpotProtects connection to the cloud at all, […]

Are there any monitoring fees with your alarm products?
Absolutely not. All of our alarm dialers and alert products are designed for DIY installation, use and monitoring meaning the user selects who the alarm contacts to alert of alarm conditions. This means no recurring fees or monitoring fees, YOU own and operate the system 100%.
I am trying to set up my SWITCHSPOT sensor as an out for my driveway alarm receiver. Where do the red and black wires need to be? My options are NC, NO, and COMM.
You have two options, you can choose to put them in either NC and COM or NO and COM. Polarity does not matter. If you choose NC and COM that’s a “Closed” connection that opens on alarm, so you’ll want to set your Notification to be to notify on “Loop Open”. If you choose NO […]
What wire type does the MIER DA-051 use? (Magnetic probe for DA-500 driveway alarm)
The cable is a 22 Ga., twisted pair w/shield and a drain wire. Note, the outer jacket is direct burial and rated @ 600 volts. This cable buried in a PVC pipe provides excellent short protection from grounded circuits and lightning.
Does the switching unit in the CookStop switch one leg of the 240 volt or both legs?
It switches one leg only, this is what allows the clock to operate normally.
I’m looking at your PRUT2500 system and I’m wondering if a door sensor (not motion sensor) could be connected with this system?
That system will actually do that for you, the ‘UT-2500’ part of the system (doorbell) also functions as a magnetic contact sensor to operate as a door switch.
