Does the Dakota Alert BBA-2500 chime continuously if a vehicle is parked between the sensors?
No, the BBA-2500 will chime once when the vehicle breaks the sensor beams than stop. It will NOT chime while the vehicle (or anything) is parked and blocking the beams.
Can I have my driveway alarm accessory (siren, strobe etc.) activate for longer than few seconds?
Yes, if you are using the Dakota Alert DCR-2500’s 12V output to drive the accessory you can easily select from several time options to have the accessory stay activated for up to 10 minutes.
How to wire a UT-3000 to a DA-500 Driveway Alarm
When I replace the battery in my Dakota Alert WMT-3000 the light keeps flashing…what does that mean?
This is perfectly normal…the light will flash for one full minute, and then stop. The system will be ready to go.
